Jambi Mayor (Walkot) Syarif Fasha reminded state civil apparatus (ASN) officials within the Jambi City Government (Pemkot) not to cheat on the selection of admissions of Government Employees with Work Agreements (PPPK) in 2023.

"If someone reports and is equipped with evidence that an official was involved in cheating in the PPPK selection, the Jambi City Government will dishonorably dismiss the official and employee," Fasha said in Jambi, Tuesday, August 29, as reported by Antara.

Fasha emphasized that no single official and selection committee is allowed to offer, provide lure and promise graduation for PPPK selection participants.

For officials who promise or receive something from potential PPPK selection participants and participants who provide bribes, both will receive sanctions.

"For selection participants who are caught committing bribery to escape will be disqualified," he said.

So far, he said, the selection process for PPPK and CPNS in Jambi City has been running smoothly and no fraud has been found.

In the 2023 PPPK selection, the Jambi City Government received 2,928 formations, between education staff (guru) and technical personnel.

Fasha added that the competency selection process for PPPK participants through a computer assisted test (CAT) is also an effort by the government to anticipate fraud in the selection.

In addition, the PPPK selection committee also provides a period of rebuttal to participants, namely that participants can make objections if they feel worthy of passing with included evidence.

Fasha hopes that the PPPK selection participants will take advantage of the rebuttal period by reporting it to the selection committee.

"Confuse period (please) take advantage of it, don't report it to social media. Report it to the relevant agencies and bring evidence stating that you have the right to pass," he said.

He emphasized that the CAT selection could not be manipulated either. The test value of the participants immediately came out when the participants ended the CAT test.
