Earthquake M 7.4 Tanah Bumbu Kalsel Feels Until Denpasar To Bantul

JAKARTA - The 7.4 magnitude earthquake that rocked Tanah Bumbu, South Kalimantan (South Kalimantan) was felt to Denpasar (Bali) and Bantul (DI Yogyakarta). In addition to Denpasar and Bantul, the Tanah Bumbu earthquake was also felt by residents in Kuta, Gianyar, Waingapu, Lombok, Karanges, South Kuta, Tabanan, Trenggalek, and Blitar.Tectonic earthquake with a magnitude of 7.4 rocked Tanah Bumbu, South Kalimantan, informed by the Meteorology, Climatology and Geophysics Agency (BMKG) on Tuesday 29 August. In a statement given in Jakarta, Iman Fatchrochman, who served as the Daily Executive Head of the BMKG Earthquake and Tsunami Center, explained that the epicenter of the earthquake was at sea, about 180 kilometers southeast of Tanah Bumbu. This earthquake occurred at 02.55 WIB, had a depth of 10 kilometers, and the epicenter point was located at coordinates 4.38 south latitude and 116.90 east longitude. Iman Fatchrochman also said that this earthquake gave vibrations with MMI intensity in Tanah Bumbu. This vibration was quite pronounced inside the house and felt as if there was a passing heavy vehicle vibration sound.
