Coordinating Minister for Political, Legal and Security Affairs Mahfud MD and Minister of Law and Human Rights Yasonna Laoly visited the Czech Republic to provide repatriation opportunities for victims of past gross human rights violations. The victims, especially former Students of the Service Association (Mahid) were given convenience through priority visa services, residence permits, and re-entry permits for free.

To the former Mahid in the Czech Republic, the Minister of Law and Human Rights reaffirmed the priority services of former Mahid to obtain citizenship documents and immigration documents when he wanted to visit Indonesia, or even return to become an Indonesian citizen.

For the Czech region, priority services for the former Mahid can be obtained through a request to the Embassy of the Republic of Indonesia (KBRI) in the Czech Republic. Furthermore, the Indonesian Embassy will continue the request until it gets a recommendation from the Coordinating Ministry for Political, Legal and Security Affairs.

As of today, the Ministry of Law and Human Rights has provided Immigration Service Priorities to 5 (five) ex-Mahid since the Kick Off of Non-Judicial Settlement of Past Serious Human Rights Violations in Pidie Aceh on 27 June 2023, namely to:1. Ing. Jaroni Soejomartono, in the form of a Limited Stay Permit (ITAS) valid for 1 (one) year. 2. Prof. Sudaryanto Yanto Priyono, in the form of a Limited Stay Permit (ITAS) valid for 1 (one) year.3. Sri Budiarti Tuncapati, in the form of a Visit Visa of Several Traveling Rivers (Multiple Visa) with a validity period of 5 (five) years.4. Wahjuni Kansilova, in the form of a Visit Visa of Several Travel Rivers (Multiple Visa) with a validity period of 5 (five) years.5. Siswantono Sarodjo, in the form of a Visit Visa Several Times Travel (multiples Visa) with a validity period of 5 (five) years.
