The West Nusa Tenggara (NTB) Regional Police Internal Security Officer examined the Head of the Pringgabaya Sector Police with the initials TS related to security funds for iron sand mining activities in the Dedalpak Block, East Lombok Regency, from the mining company PT Anugrah Mitra Graha (AMG).
Head of Public Relations of the NTB Police, Kombes Arman Asmara Syarifuddin, confirmed that there was a parial activity to conduct an examination of TS at the NTB Police Headquarters.
"Yes, the head of the parminal sub-directorate just contacted me, and he confirmed that the person concerned (TS) was asked for information today," said Arman as quoted by ANTARA, Monday, August 28.
The Head of the Pringgabaya Police came to the parial room in the Professional and Security Sector (Propam) of the NTB Police at around 13.00 WITA. Wearing a Police uniform, TS entered the parial room with the assistance of a member of the police. The activity ended at 15.30 WITA.
Leaving the parial room, TS chose to remain silent. He was reluctant to comment on the activity, including about himself which was revealed in the indictment by the public prosecutor to receive security funds in stages from PT AMG with a total of Rp. 89 million.
The indictment which stated that TS received security funds for PT AMG mining activities belonged to Rinus Adam Wakum, Head of Branch of PT AMG East Lombok.
Rinus Adam Wakum is one of the defendants in the case of the PT AMG iron sand mine which was running in the 2021 '2022 period allegedly without obtaining a letter of ratification of the activity plan and budget (RKAB) from the Ministry of Energy and Mineral Resources (ESDM).
