Allegations Of Murder And Persecution Of Couples In Tebet, Police Suspect Perpetrators Are Still Neighbors

JAKARTA - Police are still investigating the alleged abuse case that led to the death of a man with the initials MY (61) in Tebet area, South Jakarta. Another victim, MY wife, H (43), suffered serious injuries.

Tebet Police Chief Kompol Jamalinus Nababan suspects that the perpetrator and the two victims know each other. He said this after asking for information from the neighbor of the victim, who is a married couple (couple).

"Neighbors, the possibility of getting to know each other, although maybe just a glimpse," Jamalinus said in a short message, Saturday, August 27.

Jamalinus admitted that he could not conclude how many perpetrators were in this alleged murder case. That's because it's still in the process of being investigated.

"We are continuing to explore it," he said.

So far the Tebet Police have examined two witnesses. The police are also still waiting for victim H who is still under medical treatment for questioning.

"Still waiting for the victim's wife to be asked for information, still trying to find the alleged perpetrator," he said.

Previously, it was reported that a man with the initials MY was killed at his own home on Jalan Perintis, Kebon Baru, Tebet, South Jakarta. The other victim, his wife H, was seriously injured.

Jamalinus said the incident occurred on Saturday, August 26, at around 20.00 WIB.

"Yes, it is true (there has been an allegation of murder). Then the woman suffered injuries. It is known that the woman and the man were a husband and wife," said Jamalinus, Saturday, August 23.
