Gerindra Reminds Its Cadres Not To Convey Negative Narratives Attack Other Presidential Candidates

JAKARTA - Deputy Chairperson of the Gerindra Party, Habiburokhman, reminded his cadres not to vilify other presidential candidates (candidates) in the 2024 Presidential Election (Pilpres). They were asked not to spread negative narratives.

This warning was conveyed by him while leading the consolidation of the Prabowo RT (jurkamte) level Campaign Officer who is also a TPS witness at Gedong Field, Condet Raya, East Jakarta on Saturday, August 26.

"We ask Jurkamte to avoid a negative campaign in campaigning for Pak Prabowo. It is not permissible to vilify the presidential candidate and other parties," Habiburokhman said in a written statement after the activity.

"We put the politics of unity forward," he continued.

Furthermore, Habiburokhman explained that 3,000 jurkamtes were present. They will serve in electoral district 6 East Jakarta.

"Thus, for all of East Jakarta, we already have 9,000 jurkamtes," he said.

They will be assigned to go down to the community. Habiburokhman said, this jurkamte must introduce Prabowo.

"The main task of jurkamte is to convince families and neighbors to elect Pak Prabowo as president in the 2024 election," he concluded.
