Tisna Elderly Petojo South Fire Victim Buried At TPU Karet Tengsin Tanah Abang

JAKARTA - Tisna (81), a resident of Gang Kober Street, Petojo Selatan Village, Gambir District, Central Jakarta, who died in a fire in Petojo Selatan, was buried at TPU Karet Tengsin, Tanah Abang, Central Jakarta on Thursday, August 24, afternoon.

"The information is buried at the Karet Tengsin TPU," said Amir (35), one of the residents to VOI at the location.

From VOI's observation, a number of relatives and family and residents accompanied the departure of the coffin of the deceased Tisna. Seen, the atmosphere of grief enveloped the area where the fire was.

Hairul (60), another resident, said that when the fire occurred on Wednesday, August 23, the night, the victim was above his house.

"Maybe he wants to go down or not, the fire is too big. Pak Tisna is a native here, born here, native people here. Just because his leg hurts and lives on top," he said at the location of the fire.

When the flames devoured his house, Tisna was still asleep in her room.

"Ada anak di bawah, dia (korban) tidur di atas. Jadi tidak sempat (dekat) karena keadaan panik. Korban meninggal dalam keadaan posisi tidur di dalam kamar atas, api membakar. Tisna didiam di TPU Karet Tengsin," katanya.
