TANGERANG The robbery that took place in Alfamart Kav 313 RT 04 RW 09 in front of the Deplu Caraka Buawana Complex, Cipadu, Larangan, Tangerang City, caused a total loss of Rp. 21 million. Not only that, Alfamart employees were also traumatized by dealing with robbers armed with firearms and sickles, and being held captive.

Inventorial control mini market in the Tangerang area, Muhamad Zakhi (22) said the incident occurred Monday, August 21, after 21.30 WIB.

He added that the robbers managed to collect Rp15 million in the safe and took cigarettes worth Rp6 million.

"So our total loss is 21 million. We have also made a report and several witnesses have been questioned by the police," Zakhi told reporters at the location, Tuesday, August 22.

Zakhi explained that the perpetrators acted when Alfamart visitors were quiet.

Not long after that, the 3 robbers entered the shop and immediately closed all the doors. He immediately took shelters at the cashier. At that time, the shop was about to close and there were two people on duty," he said.

"So there are arrests and threats against the two officers on duty. Officers who are women are threatened with sharp weapons (sajam) while the man is being held at gunpoint (senpi)," he continued.

In addition to pointing a gun, Zakhi also said that the perpetrator dragged the officer who was on guard at the cashier to the office warehouse for confinement.

"Both of them are still traumatized by the sadistic actions of the robbers," he admitted.

Zakhi continued, the two employees who were held captive in the warehouse managed to escape by breaking into the warehouse wall.

"So the employees who were locked in the warehouse took the initiative to break through the wall so they could get out of the warehouse and office. Forced to break down so that their female colleagues could come out. They (victims) were locked from outside and it's good that the warehouse keys were not taken outside. After successfully leaving, the two victims immediately reported the incident to the head of the shop," he explained.

The robbery has been reported to the Ciledug Police for follow-up.
