Prabowo Subianto Plans To Meet Gus Dur's Wife And His Daughter, Yenny Wahid

JAKARTA - The presidential candidate and General Chair of the Gerindra Party Prabowo Subianto is scheduled to meet the wife of the 4th President of the Republic of Indonesia Abdurrahman Wahid (Gus Dur), Sinta Nuriyah and daughter Yenny Wahid in the near future. "Yes, indeed, God willing, in the near future, Mrs. Yenny and Mrs. Sinta," said Secretary General (Secretary General) of the Gerindra Party Ahmad Muzani was met after his meeting agenda with the Indonesian Gelora Party in Jakarta, Saturday, August 19. At that moment, Prabowosempat squatted beside Sinta Nuriyah and kissed Gus Dur's wife. Not long after, Prabowo and Yenny while talking escorted Sinta to enter his car. It was not clear what was the content of the chat between Prabowo, Sinta Nuriyah, and Yenny Wahid in the brief meeting. In front of the media crew, Prabowo just pointed his thumb into the car.

Di sisi lain, Yenny Wahid mengatakan bahwa kediaman keluarganya di Ciganjur, Jakarta, terbuka bagi semua bakal calon presiden yang ingin bertandang.“Pasti kami membuka diri, semua capres yang akan sowan ke Ciganjur kami terbuka dan menerima,” kata Yenny dijumpai wartawan saat menghadiri Perayaan HUT Ke-78 RI di halaman Istana Merdeka, Jakarta, Kamis 17 Agustus.Yenny mengatakan pihaknya justru sangat mengapresiasi dan berterima kasih jika ada bakal capres yang datang karena dengan demikian keluarganya bisa menitipkan nilai-nilai Gus Dur kepada para bakal capres.“Siapa pun yang akan berkunjung, sowan, ibu saya (Sinta Nuriyah Wahid) maka kami menerima dengan tangan terbuka,” kata Yenny.
