At The 2023 MHT Awards, These Two Figures Will Receive Special Awards From PWI Jaya

JAKARTA - Dwi Soetjipto, Head of SKK Migas, and Prof. DR Ariawan Gunadi SH. MH, the youngest professor in the field of Business Law, will receive a prestigious PWI Jaya Award at the MHT Awards for their dedication and extraordinary contributions in their respective fields.

The PWI Jaya Award for Dwi Soetjipto and Prof. DR Ariawan Gunadi SH. MH will be announced on August 24, 2023, at Balai Agung, City Hall, DKI Jakarta Provincial Government. This announcement will be part of the highlight of the 2023 Mohammad Hoesni Thamrin Journalism Award.

Dwi Soetjipto, who has played an important role in supporting freedom of expression and press advancement, is recognized as the recipient of the PWI Jaya Award. On the other hand, Prof. Ariawan Gunadi, who reached the title of professor at the age of 37 and earned MURI's record as the youngest professor of business law in Indonesia, will be rewarded as "Inspirational Young Figures".

The birth of March 19, 1985, Prof. Ariawan Gunadi showed extraordinary achievements in the academic field. Meanwhile, Dwi Soetjipto, who was born on November 10, 1955 in Surabaya, has built a reputation as one of the respected energy figures.

Dwi Soetjipto has also supported national press education, including his support through SKK Migas for the implementation of Competency Tests for Journalists (UKW) in various regions, making it a very meaningful partner for journalists.

This award ceremony will be attended by DKI Jakarta Governor Heru Budi Hartono and other invitees. MH Thamrin's Journalism Award, which is the result of cooperation between PWI Jaya and the DKI Jakarta Provincial Government, is a manifestation of support for the world of journalism.

The 49th MHT Awards in 2023 will involve seven categories, including text, photos, terrestrial TV videos, video TV streaming, radio, infographic, and title. The DKI Jakarta Provincial Government will award Rp15 million in cash for each category, and an additional Rp2.5 million for two nominations in each category.

The chairman of the 2023 MHT Awards Committee, Tubagus Adhi, appreciated various parties who have contributed to this event, including SKK Migas, Pertamina EP, Tarumanegara Foundation, Djarum Foundation, and various other entities that also support this event.
