JAKARTA A total of five perpetrators of the beatings and the seizure of motorbikes that occurred in Sunter, North Jakarta, were arrested by members of the North Jakarta Police. After an investigation was carried out, it was discovered that one of the five perpetrators, namely ARH (20), was jealous because the victim DRS (15) was close to the woman he liked.

"Brother ARH has a relationship with sister I. According to ARH's statement, it was obtained from Facebook, there was communication with the victim so that ARH was jealous. Because ARH was jealous," Gidion told reporters, Friday, August 11.

Annoyed, ARH used I's cellphone to communicate with DRH. Meanwhile, the victim welcomed him happily but he did not know that the person who contacted him was the person who would beat him.

"He wants to meet the victim (DR). The trick is to reply to the victim's chat so that it is as if the reply is sister I. Then meet at the crime scene," he said.

Long story short, DRH promised to meet sister I in the Integrated Child Friendly Public Space (RPTRA) Sunter, Tanjung Priok, North Jakarta. At that time, ARH was also present at the scene. Not long after, ARH's friends were also present at the location.

That's when ARH and his friends beat up and even took DRH's motorbike.

"Then, when the victim was helpless, his motorbike was taken by the suspect. Until the arrest process, it means that three days is more or less under the control of the suspect," he said.

Gidion considers that the mastermind behind this incident is ARH. Because, he planned this series of strategies until finally the victim was helpless.

"The main perpetrator sees a story like that, the actor is ARH's brother."

The perpetrators are subject to Article 365 sub 170 and 351 with a threat of 7 to 9 years in prison.

"This means that the legal construction for 365 is valid and fulfilled according to investigators, coated with 170 and 351. Because, this has been done with violence using stones, then cigarette injections, then taking the victim's cellphone," he concluded.
