Police Name Suspect Of Brawl In Klapanunggal Bogor

Bogor Police have named one suspect in a brawl with the initials MR (18) which caused one person to be seriously injured while in action on Jalan Alternative Klapanunggal.

The Head of the Bogor Police Ops, Kompol Adhimas Sriyon, explained that MR was named a suspect because he was old enough to be subject to a criminal case.

Meanwhile, he said, the other seven brawlers were not named as suspects, but were entrusted to the Bogor Regency Social Service for some time to take part in coaching.

"The perpetrators together in public carried out violence against children and carried sharp weapons," he said as quoted by ANTARA, Tuesday, August 8.

Adhimas said, due to the brawl, one of the students with the initials RA (16) suffered serious injuries to his face and hands due to the slashing of a sharp weapon.

"The modus operandi is that the perpetrators of the brawl beat, kicked, slashed, using sharp weapons machetes and sickles," said Adhimas.

The police secured evidence in the form of two Muhammadiyah Vocational School uniforms, one SMK Mulia Charity Education Foundation uniform, six cell phones, one motorcycle, and two sickle blades.

Meanwhile, the Head of the Klapanunggal Police of the Bogor Police, AKP Irrine Kania Defi, explained that the brawl involving the two schools had been planned by the perpetrators since the previous three days.

At that time, the brawl was canceled because one of the school parties was not present at the agreed time.

"When they left for school (early), they met on the street and finally the brawl occurred," said Irrine.
