Revenge Due To Heartache, Man In Sidoarjo Kills His Cousin With Potassium Mixed Arrak

SIDOARJO - Sidoarjo Police Team, East Java arrested a man with the initials RI, the perpetrator of the murder of AM from Tuban who sells duck rice every day in Buncitain, Sedati, Sidoarjo.

Sidoarjo Police Chief Kombes Kusumo Wahyu Bintoro said the perpetrator was arrested on Saturday (5/8) at his boarding house in Sidoarjo.

"The police chased and succeeded in arresting RI at his boarding house in Rangkah Kidul Sidoarjo," he said as quoted by ANTARA, Monday, August 7.

This case started when the victim, who could not be contacted for four days and was found dead lying on a stiff spot on the rented room bed.

At that time the family suspected that they could not contact the victim for four days. On August 4, the family went to the victim's rented place.

"After the lockman opened the door where the victim rented, the family and the Navy found the victim AM dead with a stiff body and on it there were traces of flower splashes," said Sidoarjo Police Chief.

It is known that four days earlier, on the evening of July 31, the victim AM drank wine with the Navy and the victim's cousin alias the perpetrator of the Republic of Indonesia at the location.

Moments after drinking, the victim fell down. The victim was then taken to the room and placed on the bed.

The victim's cousin, RI, told the Navy that if the victim was helpless, it might be tired. Furthermore, RI said to the Navy that the victim's body should be fenced (ritual) with the aim of not being hit by a disaster. RI then ordered the Navy to look for a sekar flower and then poured it on the victim's body on the pretext that the next day it was conscious, "said the Sidoarjo Police Chief.

After that, the RI perpetrator packed the former alcohol and a number of items belonging to the victim, namely a cash cell phone of Rp. 142,000 and brought the victim's motorbike.

"Then RI invited the Navy to leave the location and prohibited the incident from telling other people on the pretext of not experiencing disaster," he said.

According to the perpetrator's confession, he had the heart to plan a murder because of a grudge of heartache when the perpetrator worked in Jakarta his motorbike was sold to the victim by the perpetrator's parents.

"Because of the annoyance and revenge, the perpetrators of the Republic of Indonesia planned to kill the victim by mixing potassium powder and floor cleaners into wine," he said.
