JAKARTA - The Head of the International Relations Division (Divhubinter) of the National Police Inspector General Krishna Murti said Harun Masiku was in the country. Certainty is based on the crossing data carried out by the suspected briber of the former Deputy Chairman of the General Elections Commission (KPU).

"There is data on the crossing that shows that the person concerned is domestic," Krishna said after a meeting with the KPK structural ranks at the KPK's Red and White Building, Kuningan Persada, South Jakarta, Monday, August 7.

Khrisna did not specify the data further. However, Harun actually never traveled abroad except a few moments before he was supposed to be arrested by anti-corruption commission investigators.

"So he (Harun Masiku, ed) is actually hiding inside, unlike rumors," he said.

"But we also didn't stop the search from the person concerned outside," continued Khrisna.

As a reminder, the KPK is still pursuing three fugitives. The first is Kirana Kotama, which has been sought since 2017 for alleged bribery in filing for a revision of forest conversion in Riau Province in 2014 to the Ministry of Forestry.

Second, Paulus Tannos who stumbled upon the alleged corruption case in the procurement of Electronic Identity Cards (e-KTP). He is currently in Singapore.

Finally, former candidate Harun Masiku is also still at large. The suspect who gave bribes to former General Elections Commission (KPU) Commissioner Wahyu Setiawan is still unknown.
