Dozens Of Reports And Complaints Come About Rocky Gerung, One Of Them Goes Directly To The National Police Chief

JAKARTA - The National Police received dozens of police reports (LP) and two complaints about the alleged spread of fake news to hate speech with reported Rocky Gerung at the Bareskrim and Polda ranks. In fact, there was a complaint directly addressed to the National Police Chief, General Listyo Sigit Prabowo.

"There is a complaint that was reported to the National Police Chief, one complaint," said the Director of General Crimes at the National Police Criminal Investigation Agency Brigadier General Djuhandani Rahardjo Puro to reporters, Friday, August 4.

There was also one other complaint received by the Yogyakarta Regional Police. As for the LP, it is said that there are 13 that have been received at the Bareskrim Polri level, Maupuan Polda ranks.

In detail, Bareskrim Polri received one LP; Polda Metro Jaya there are three LPs; Polda North Sumatra received three LPs; Polda East Kalimantan three LPs, and Polda Central Kalimantan handling three LPs.

"We don't differentiate between police reports or complaints because these two are the basis for us to carry out further investigations," he said.

With so many reports related to alleged criminal acts involving Rocky Gerung, it is said that all of them will be withdrawn to the Criminal Investigation Unit of the Police. Thus, the handling will be unified.

"Further technicalities, of course, we will withdraw some of these LPs and complaints to Bareskrim for further investigation," said Djuhandani.

Meanwhile, dozens of reports originated from podcast content broadcast on YouTube Refly Harun. Rocky Gerung's statement at the event was considered to contain elements of insulting Jokowi and unethical.

Some of Rocky Gerung's words or statements that are considered to contain hate speech are;

"Once Jokowi loses his power he becomes an ordinary person, no one cares later. But Jokowi's ambition is to maintain his legacy. He offers IKN, pacing to the coalition, to find clarity on his fate," said Rocky in the video.

"He thinks his fate is not our fate, it's b****n yang t*l, sekaligus b***ng*n mengguruh. Kalau dia b***ng*n smart, dia mau terima berbahan dengan Jumhur Hidayat. Ajaib, b**ng*n tapi mengguruh," lanjut Rocky mengkritik Jokowi.
