Bogor City Biskita Tariff For Elderly And Students Proposed At IDR 2,000

The BisKita Transpakuan tariff will change in the near future. This special tariff is intended for passengers from students and the elderly.

The President Director of Perumda Transpakuan, Rachma Nissa Fadliya, said that Bis Kita's proposed tariff was IDR 2,000. According to him, the proposal is still waiting for a decision from the Ministry of Finance.

"God willing, the card registration method will be socialized immediately. However, the implementation is still waiting for the revision of regulations regarding the tariff," he said in a statement, Tuesday, August 1.

The Mayor of Bogor, Bima Arya, said that the change in BisKita tariffs had been approved by the Ministry of Finance and would be socialized by his party in the near future.

He said the tariff adjustment was made to provide relief for school children and the elderly. "Because if you connect many times, it is easier for children to process by being given a discount," he said when met by Radar Bogor on Monday last week.

Bima has not clearly stated when this tariff will be announced and will take effect. However, he ensured that the policy could ease the cost burden on the passenger class.

As is known, the Jabodetabek Transportation Management Agency (BPTJ) of the Ministry of Transportation has established a Biskita Trans Pakuan service in Bogor City, which is subject to a paid tariff of IDR 4 thousand. The implementation of this tariff will begin to be implemented on Saturday, May 20, 2023.

Director of BPTJ Transport, Tatan Rustandi said the tariff had begun to be applied because his party had received approval from the Ministry of Finance with the stipulation of PMK Number 55 of 2023 concerning Types and Tariffs on Types of PNBP which were Volatile in nature to Urban Transportation Services with a Service Purchase Scheme (BTS) at the Ministry of Transportation.

The tariff is imposed on passengers per one ride. If on the way passengers need to change corridors or routes, passengers will be charged another tariff.

The payment method used is cashless payment using a non-cash card. Passengers simply attach a non-cash card to the Tap on Bus (ToB) device in the Biskita Trans Pakuan fleet.
