Head of Criminal Investigation Unit of the Kerinci Police, AKP Edi Mardi Siswoyo, said the perpetrator was arrested based on a report from a woman in the video, namely EY (24).

The perpetrator was charged with Article 29 in conjunction with Article 4 Paragraph (1) of the Republic of Indonesia Law Number 44 of 2008 concerning Pornography or Article 45 Paragraph (1) in conjunction with Article 27 Paragraph (1) of Law of the Republic of Indonesia Number 19 of 2016 concerning Amendments to Law of the Republic of Indonesia Number 11 of 2008 concerning ITE.
