Central Java Governor Ganjar Pranowo provided assistance with educational facilities and infrastructure worth Rp150 million to the Gusdurian Banyumas Polytechnic Foundation. Campus that provides a vocational study program with the applied undergraduate title still uses the Jawa Christian Church Building (GKJ) Jalan Merdeka no 23 Purwokerto. Assistance in the form of 10 units of computer sets and 2 units of cameras was given directly to Ganjar's Polytechnic Director Gusdurian, Ngutsman Mukromin. The assistance sourced from the Central Java and CSR Province National Zakat Agency (Baznas) is expected to support the educational methods at the campus. Ganjar said that Gusdurian Polytechnic is interesting, because it still uses a building owned by GKJ. The enthusiasm in providing education, according to him, must get support. "Gusdurian's Polytechnic is interesting. First, the building belongs to GKJ, now it is used for the Gusdurian Foundation to create school polytechnics, yes it is still starting from starting up and we are trying to help because some of its facilities do not exist yet," said Ganjar, Wednesday, July 26. According to him, the provision of such assistance is a form of mutual cooperation in realizing good educational implementation. That support is expected to be a foundation in pioneering access to education for the community. "This is our way of mutual cooperation. But our hope is that this can be a foundation. I entrust it to lecturers, founders of foundations and those who care well. Later, those who are here can really get a good learning methodology. And children can become intelligent and skilled children," he explained. Ganjar added, Gusdurian Polytechnic will get a lot of support if it is good in organizing education, let alone it brings values from KH. Abdurrahman Wahid or Gus Dur. "If that happens, then there will be many people will help, especially since Gus Dur's value will have national value and he belongs to all groups and all religions so that people will feel this is the face of Indonesia," he added.

Ganjar hopes that the collaboration between lecturers, foundation administrators and supportive parties can professionally manage Gusdurian Polytechnic. "This is an example of good initial education. We just need to leave it to the professional manager to be right, so that in building the network we can develop this school well," he said.
