JAKARTA - Coordinating Minister for Human Development and Culture (Menko PMK) Muhadjir Effendy directly monitors post-social conflict recovery, riots, which occurred some time ago in Dogiyai Regency, Central Papua.

The Coordinating Ministry for Human Development and Culture has coordinated with the Dogiyai Regency Government (Pemkab) and related parties to handle the recovery of residential houses and kiosks of residents who were burned down due to riots.

His party will also coordinate with related parties regarding the recovery of several blocked roads and partially cut telecommunication access due to the riots in Dogiyai.

Muhadjir asked the ranks of the security forces together with the regional government and religious leaders in Dogiyai Regency to strengthen each other and work hand in hand in carrying out security.

"Social conflict has happened frequently, and we have discussed it with security officers there, there is the Dandim, the Chief of Police. The point is we are determined so that incidents like this do not happen again," he said.

During a visit on July 20, Coordinating Minister Muhadjir was accompanied by the Deputy for Emergency Management of BNPB Major General TNI Fajar Setyawan, as well as a number of officials from the Coordinating Ministry for Human Development and Culture to have a dialogue with local officials and community leaders.
