South Jakarta Police Issues DPO Status For Drug Supplier Bobby Josep

JAKARTA - Police are hunting for drug supplier artist Bobby Josep. South Jakarta Metro Police Narcotics Head, Kompol Achmad Ardhy said his party plans to issue a wanted list (DPO) of drug suppliers.

"(The drug supplier) is still being investigated, later when we press release we generalize it. And it also needs to be issued a DPO, yes," Ardhy told reporters at the South Jakarta Metro Police, Monday, July 24.

Ardhy explained that Bobby's arrest began with public reports about drug use. On that basis, the police investigated until they finally arrested Bobby and brought evidence of synthetic tobacco.

Then we take the perpetrator to the South Jakarta Metro Police, for further investigation. As a result, this artist turned out to be positive for MDMB or Pinaca.

"After we checked, the person concerned did have evidence of synthetic tobacco. At first, we didn't know that it was synthetic tobacco, but after we secured it, we checked, it turned out to be positive for MDMB," he said.

However, when asked how long the alleged perpetrator had been using this hope item, Ardhy admitted that he could not conclude. Because it is still under further investigation.

"This is still being investigated," he concluded.

Bobby Josep was again arrested by the police on suspicion of drug abuse of synthetic type weighing 0.46 grams. He was arrested at his home in the Cinere area, Depok, Friday, July 21, at night.

"Yes, it is true that one person was arrested, namely Bobby Josep. In the past, he was arrested in West Jakarta, now we are safe again," South Jakarta Metro Police Narcotics Head Kompol Achmad Ardhy confirmed, Monday, July 24.
