Polda Metro: India Until China Becomes A Recipient Of The Cambodian TIP Network

JAKARTA - Polda Metro Jaya said that the kidney recipients from the Cambodian People's Trade Criminal Investigation syndicate (TPPO) came from various countries, India to China.

The disclosure of the origin of the kidney recipients was based on the statements of donors and also the suspects who had been detained.

"According to the information from these donors, the recipients of these kidney donors are also from abroad, from India, China, Malaysia, Singapore, and so on," said Director of General Criminal Investigation of the Polda Metro Jaya Kombes Hengki Haryadi to reporters, Thursday, July 20.

In addition, from the results of the examination, it was also revealed that this syndicate received Rp. 200 million for each donor sent to Cambodia to undergo kidney removal surgery.

However, the money the syndicate received was not entirely. This is because there are deductions for donors amounting to Rp135 million and others.

"This Indonesian syndicate received a payment of Rp 200 million, Rp 135 million was paid to donors. Meanwhile, this syndicate received Rp 65 million per person," he said.

"Cmembered for their operations, making passports, taking transportation from the airport to the hospital, and so on," continued Hengki.

Previously reported, Polda Metro Jaya revealed the case of the Cambodian network TIP selling human organs. From the disclosure, 12 people were named as suspects, one of whom was a member of the National Police.

Of the dozens of suspects, 9 of them were Indonesian citizens (WNI). They play a role in finding andccommodating victims.

Then, there is one person who is said to be part of the overseas network. However, the identity was not explained.

For the other two suspects, Karyoto is called an individual. One of them is a member of Koprs Bhayangkara.
