YOGYAKARTA - The political contestation launched by presidential candidates (candidates) is getting fiercer and closer to the 2024 election year. PDIP is implementing a campaign strategy by forming a Team 7 to help win the presidential candidate Ganjar Pranowo in the presidential election next year. Hasto Kristiyanto, Secretary General of PDIP, said that the formation of Team 7 was carried out following up on directions from President Joko Widodo. Hasto said President Jokowi had assigned 7 people to help win Ganjar Pranowo.

"There are 7 people assigned by President Jokowi, Team 7 to achieve the goal of winning Pak Ganjar Pranowo," said Hasto in Jakarta on Monday (17/7).

This strategy for the formation of Team 7 was conveyed by Jokowi to Hasto on June 22 after the PDIP National Working Meeting. Hasto said he had also consulted with Jokowi regarding Ganjar Pranowo's grand winning strategy in the 2024 presidential election. What are the tasks of Team 7 to win Ganjar Pranowo?

Hasto Kristiyanto revealed that President Jokowi had advised 7 names to help Ganjar Pranowo reach victory in the presidential election. Even though he has contacted a number of these names, Hasto still has not disclosed who is the list of Team 7 members.

He also said that former TNI Commander Andika Perkasa and Arsyad Rasyid would also be speakers and accompany Puan Maharani at the closing ceremony.
