Ministry Of Religion Reminds Marriage Guidance Can Be A Provision For Household Arrungi

JAKARTA - The Ministry of Religion (Kemenag) said that the knowledge gained from the marriage guidance program for brides and grooms could be a useful provision for every couple to navigate married life.

This was said by the Director General of Islamic Community Guidance at the Ministry of Religion Kamaruddin Amin when attending the Pre-Nikaf Class and Health Examination of the BKKBN Catin in Palembang, South Sumatra (Sumsel), Wednesday, July 5.

"The marriage guidance program for brides and grooms as ammunition strengthens family resilience to realize the resilience of this nation, is not only a program of the Ministry of Religion, but is a national program supported by relevant ministries/agencies," he said.

Kamaruddin said, the benefits of guiding marriages for household life can later be very influential and can be a provision in household life.

By following this guidance, it is hoped that this bride and groom will be able to form a happy family and be able to prepare a harmonious household.

Including being able to overcome problems, problems and the dynamics of their household. The program is also intended so that Indonesian families are built on a strong religious basis, so that sakinah (survival peace) can be realized, the existence of mawaddah (a sense of love), and the protection of rahmah (a love).

"With the realization of family resilience, we all hope that the divorce rate can be reduced, the acceleration of stunting reduction becomes a reality, TIP Crime, eliminated domestic violence and our extreme poverty chain is biased," he said.

Kamaruddin also emphasized that the marriage guidance program is a joint movement for dealing with divorce rates and the formation of a sakinah family in order to build superior and quality human resources in accordance with the values of Nawa Cita.

The program has been adjusted to the ongoing development of the United Nations SDGs (Sustainable Development Goals) and has been implemented nationally, as part of the government's efforts together with stakeholders to prepare strong brides through a structured program at the District Office of Religious Affairs (KUA).

"The government is well aware that if family life is likened to a building, to protect buildings from the influence of storms and earthquake shocks, it must be built on a sturdy foundation with sturdy building materials and interconnected glue must be of very high quality," he said.

Furthermore, in welcoming the 30th National Family Day of 2023, he also hopes that all parties can understand that the basis of family life is religious teachings, this is also in the 1945 Constitution Amendment Article 28 B which states that everyone has the right to form a family and continue descent through a legitimate marriage accompanied by strong physical and mental readiness.

Where this marriage guidance is prepared for prospective couples who want to get married or it could also be for people who have entered the age of marriage. If they want to get married, they are expected to follow the guidance of both classically and independently.

"Hopefully the momentum of commemorating the 30th National Family Day of 2023 will be able to encourage brides and grooms throughout Indonesia, to follow marriage guidance towards family resilience," he said.
