JAKARTA - Chairman of the Retired Police Association (PP) General (Ret.) Bambang Hendarso Danuri explained the reason his party invited the Governor of Central Java (Central Java) Ganjar Pranowo to commemorate the 24th Anniversary of the National Police PP at the Tribrata Building, South Jakarta, Wednesday 5 July.

According to Bambang, Ganjar's presence at the event was the son of a member of the National Police who took part in the government.

Apart from Ganjar, Bogor Mayor Bima Arya Sugiarto was also invited, as a fellow son of a member of the National Police who took part in the government.

The 19th National Police Chief explained that the 24th Anniversary of the National Police PP was attended by the sons and daughters of retired Police officers who are currently in government positions, both as governors, mayors, and members of the legislative body.

Therefore, he continued, the series of 24th Anniversary of the National Police PP is an effort by the Retired Police to contribute, both as members of the legislature and regional heads.
