Ganjar Invited To The 24th Anniversary Of The Retired Police, Committee Denies There Is A Political Nuance

JAKARTA - Chairman of the Retired Police Association (PP) General (Ret.) Bambang Hendarso Danuri explained the reason his party invited the Governor of Central Java (Central Java) Ganjar Pranowo to commemorate the 24th Anniversary of the National Police PP at the Tribrata Building, South Jakarta, Wednesday 5 July.

According to Bambang, Ganjar's presence at the event was the son of a member of the National Police who took part in the government.

Apart from Ganjar, Bogor Mayor Bima Arya Sugiarto was also invited, as a fellow son of a member of the National Police who took part in the government.

"Nothing we hold is political," said Bambang.

The 19th National Police Chief explained that the 24th Anniversary of the National Police PP was attended by the sons and daughters of retired Police officers who are currently in government positions, both as governors, mayors, and members of the legislative body.

Therefore, he continued, the series of 24th Anniversary of the National Police PP is an effort by the Retired Police to contribute, both as members of the legislature and regional heads.

In the context of the 2024 General Election, Bambang said there were retired Polri, who currently have three or two stars, running for legislative and regional heads.

"For this reason, we present figures, sons and daughters of members of the National Police who are currently in government, including the Mayor of Bogor Bima Arya, Ganjar Pranowo, the son of a Brimob member with the rank of First Lieutenant, he has Mr. Bima Arya, son of a member of the X Force Police Toni Sugiarto. Of course, we need figures that we need to appear at this event," said Bambang.

During the event, Ganjar and Bima Arya delivered a testimonial when they were children of members of the National Police. They tell what educational model their parents give so as to shape their mentality to become regional heads.

Even though his father was a member of the National Police with the lowest rank from his colleagues, Ganjar said he was proud to be invited to attend the 24th Anniversary of the National Police PP.

As a police son, he received high disciplinary teachings and how to serve the nation, state. So that it was embedded when he served as regional head.

"Of course, as a child, they can give testimonials as a matter of pride with very different nuances. Of course, we are happy because everyone has a commitment to protect this nation and state," said Ganjar.
