Ganjar Pranowo: The Feeling Is That Megawati's Mother Should Not Retire

JAKARTA - The Governor of Central Java (Central Java) Ganjar Pranowo said that the 5th President of the Republic of Indonesia Megawati Soekarnoputri does not seem to be retiring from the task of coloring the development of the nation and state. "I don't think Mrs. Mega should retire," said Ganjar at the Java-Bali Cultural Gathering held in Sanur, Bali, Friday, June 16, which was confiscated by Antara.

Ganjar said this because he saw Megawati still had many tasks for the progress of the country.

He also mentioned a number of important tasks that Megawati had and were still carrying out to date. "Mrs. Megawati Soekarnoputri, Fifth President of the Republic of Indonesia, who today has quite a lot of tasks. Yes, at BPIP (Pancasila Ideology Development Agency) yes at BRIN (National Research and Innovation Agency)," he said. Megawati did get an assignment from President Joko Widodo (Jokowi) as Chair of the BPIP Steering Committee. Megawati at BRIN also held the Position of the Steering Committee at BRIN.

Ganjar also continued his remarks by inviting the audience to say "Salam Pancasila". This greeting was popularized by Megawati in her capacity as Chair of the BPIP Steering Committee. Furthermore, Ganjar hopes that the greeting can continue to be sounded in every event in Indonesia. Of course, with the hope of encouraging the values of Pancasila as a guide to the nation's ideology.

"So greetings Pancasila, this is part of the socialization that hopefully every event we will do it continuously. Thank you, Mrs. (Megawati) for attending," explained Ganjar. The Java-Bali Cultural Gathering event was attended directly by Megawati Soekarnoputri, Chairman of the PDI-P DPP (PDIP) Prananda Prabowo, Minister of PPPA Bintang Puspayoga, Governor of Bali Wayan Koster, as well as Regional Heads throughout Bali Province, traditional leaders and local community leaders.
