Rows Of Cases Resolved By Polda Metro In The Last 2 Weeks

JAKARTA - Polda Metro Jaya revealed a number of cases in a repressive level operation that was held for two weeks. Several cases that attracted attention included gambling and theft.

"So a total of 53 suspects (out of all cases revealed, ed)," said Deputy Chief of Metro Jaya Police Brigadier General Suyudi Ario Seto to reporters quoted on Friday, June 16.

Of the several cases, gambling crimes are quite interesting. This is because 60 people were arrested from gambling locations on Jalan Dwiwarna, Sawah Besar, Central Jakarta.

However, from the results of the examination, not all of them were named as suspects. According to Suyudi, 44 people are considered to have fulfilled the criminal element.

"Yang terdiri ada penyelenggara dan juga ada pemain, ada koordinator untuk beberapa permainan Tasiau dan Paikyu," sebutnya.

For other cases that are quite large, namely, violent theft that named two people as suspects.

There are also cases of motor vehicle theft with two suspects, one case of possession of firearms (senpi), and the theft case with the mode of household assistant (ART).

In disclosing these cases, a number of evidences were also secured, such as gambling equipment, and stolen vehicles.

"As evidence of gambling, there are 35 million, then also gambling tools both Paikiyu and Tasiau. Then evidence of theft, 4 two-wheeled (motor) and 4-wheeled 4 (car) were also secured from the proceeds of detention and also one firearm," said Suyudi.
