Mario Dandy's Trial Will Present 5 Complex Security For David Ozora's Persecution Location

JAKARTA - The South Jakarta District Court held another hearing on the case of serious maltreatment with the defendants Mario Dandy Satriyo and Shane Lukas today. 5 security is said to be giving testimony as a witness.

David Ozora's attorney, Melissa Anggraeni, said the five witnesses were security guards at the Green Permata Residence housing complex, Pesanggrahan, South Jakarta. They were at the scene during the assault on David Ozora.

"There were five (witnesses present) from security," said Melissa when confirmed, Thursday, June 15.

Not only the security officers, David's family representative, Rustam Hatala, was originally scheduled to give a statement. However, he failed to become one of the witnesses to be examined.

Rustam could not attend in person because he was performing the pilgrimage. Therefore, it was decided not to be a witness at the trial this time.

"I'm doing the pilgrimage, and I have to go via Zoom. But today (the witness) went offline first," said Melissa.

David Ozora was assaulted by Mario Dandy Satriyo in front of the Grand Permata Complex, cluster Boulevard Kel. Ulujami, Pesanggrahan, South Jakarta, on Monday 20 February 2023 at around 20.30 p.m. Western Indonesian Time  (WIB).

As a result of the persecution, David suffered injuries all over his body. In fact, he fell into a coma for up to two weeks.

In this case Mario Dandy was charged with aggravated maltreatment. He was charged with Article 355 paragraph 1 of the Criminal Code junto Article 55 paragraph 1 to 1 of the Subsidiary Criminal Code 353 paragraph 2 of the Criminal Code junto Article 55 paragraph 1 to 1 of the Criminal Code or 2 Article 76 C junto Article 50 paragraph 2 of Law No. 35 of 2014 concerning amendments to Law No. 23 of 2002 concerning Child Protection junto Article 55 Paragraph 1 to 1 of the Criminal Code.

Meanwhile, Shane Lukas was charged with a subsidiary of Article 355 paragraph 1 to 1 of the Criminal Code Junto Article 55 paragraph 1 to 1 of the Criminal Code and a subsidiary of Article 355 paragraph 2 junto Article 55 paragraph 1 to 1 of the Criminal Code both premieres with Article 355 paragraph 1 to 1 of the Criminal Code junto 56 to -2 Criminal Code.
