Reveals 7 Drug Cases In NTB A Month Last Month, BNN Secures 3.2 Kg Of Crystal Methamphetamine And 11 Suspects

NTB - The National Narcotics Agency (BNN) of West Nusa Tenggara (NTB) revealed seven cases of drug abuse during the period March to June 2023.

"Of the seven cases revealed, we have named 11 suspects with various roles," said Head of the NTB BNNP Brigadier General Pol Gagas Nugraha in Mataram, NTB, Monday, June 12, confiscated by Antara.

The eleven suspects have the initials AS, M, S, H, IN, HT, NP, HI, KJ, A, and YA. The legal process of all suspects is still under investigation.

"We have secured 3,599.2 grams of drug evidence from these seven cases (about 3.5 kilograms) of crystal methamphetamine, 6,729 grams of marijuana, and 2,000 ecstasy pills," he said.

Of the seven cases, Gagas explained a number of quite interesting cases, one of which was the role of a former police officer with the initials AS.

The US suspect was arrested by the NTB BNNP Eradication Team in the Taman Karang Baru area, Selaparang District, Mataram City, along with three people who have now also become suspects, namely M, S, and H.

"From the arrests of the four suspects, 3.19 kilograms of crystal methamphetamine and 2,000 pills of ecstasy were confiscated," he said.

Then for evidence of 6,729 grams of marijuana, most were confiscated from two arrest locations. First, from the suspect IN in the Griya Taman Sari housing area, Terong Tawah Village, West Lombok Regency, with 2.9 kilograms of evidence. Second, from the arrest of the suspect HT with a weight of 2.8 kilograms of evidence.

"The suspect HT was arrested while taking a package of shipments in the Taliwang area, West Sumbawa. The package containing marijuana", he said.
