Andi Gani Ngaku Has Confirmed Jokowi's Central Java-East Java Volunteers Regarding Supporting Prabowo: That's A Claim!

JAKARTA - Chairman of the Steering Committee of the People's Mosque (Musra), Andi Gani Nena Wea admitted that he had confirmed the issue of Jokowi and Gibran volunteers supporting Prabowo Subianto. Andi Gani even contacted Jokowi's volunteer network there.

In his conclusion, Andi stated that the claim that 90 percent of Jokowi's volunteers switched to Prabowo was not true.

"Where did that claim come from? Everything I contacted stated that it supports Ganjar. In reality, I admit that there are those who support Prabowo but the large current of Jokowi volunteers supports Ganjar. Jokowi Volunteer Network abroad has also started heating up its engines with a declaration of support for Ganjar, such as in America, Hong Kong, and Taiwan," Andi said in his statement, Monday, May 22.

Andi said that solidity in supporting Ganjar was caused by the belief of the volunteers that only Ganjar was able to continue Jokowi's leadership. This is not only in terms of work programs, but also in continuing styles, communications, and closeness to the people that are inseparable.

"No other presidential candidate can talk to the grassroots people as good as Mas Ganjar. As Pak Jokowi said in Musra yesterday, we need a leader who wants to go down with the people," he said.

More than that, Andi said that the pros and cons about Jokowi support who doesn't need to continue. He believes Jokowi and Gibran Rakabuming are loyal to the PDI-P.

"If anyone doubts Pak Jokowi supports Mas Ganjar, I am very confident that Pak Jokowi will support Mas Ganjar's candidacy. Pak Jokowi's journey with the PDI-P is very long," said Andi.

He also believes that the Mayor of Surakarta, Gibran Rakabuming Raka will refuse the offer to become a vice presidential candidate to accompany Prabowo Subianto. The son of President Joko Widodo is said to prefer to complete his duties in Solo and continue his political career as governor.

"I do not believe that Mas Gibran took it (Pribowo's vice presidential candidate). Mas Gibran wants to proceed gradually, from mayor to governor. There will be times when he will definitely become a national leader," he continued.

Gibran has shown his capacity as a potential young leader. His work program and political steps attract the public's attention. The public's growing hope for him must be managed wisely.

Gibran has shown intelligence in not being in a hurry and is tempted by political leaps that tend to be instant.
