The Criminal Investigation Unit of the Tamansari Metro Police has arrested a gang of motorcycle thefts from the Central Lampung network that often acts in Jakarta. Based on police records, the perpetrators have carried out their actions 9 times.

"It is suspected that all of them were the result of the crimes committed by the perpetrators," he said.

The perpetrators admitted that they were a gang from Central Lampung Regency, Lampung. They have acted nine times in Jakarta for a period of two years.

Regarding the possession of homemade firearms, the perpetrator bought them from one of the sellers in the Lampung area. Currently, the police are still hunting for him.

"This firearm when the suspect NR was in Lampung was exactly given by the DPO, namely the initials C he bought at that time for Rp. 2 million, the DPO (C) is still under our investigation," he said.

The perpetrators were charged with Article 363 of the Criminal Code (KUHP) with the threat of imprisonment for seven years.
