JAKARTA - DKI Jakarta Regional Secretary (Sekda) Joko Agus Setyono explained that the DKI Jakarta Provincial Government next week will conduct an auction of positions for the 12 positions of the head of the DKI Jakarta regional work unit (SKPD), which are currently empty or filled by the executor of the task (Plt).

"Yes, it will be auctioned off soon (the vacant position of the head of the DKI SKPD). Hopefully next week it will be filled," said Joko at DKI City Hall, Central Jakarta, as reported by ANTARA, Thursday, May 11.

"There are about 12 (positions), we will immediately auction them," added Joko.

Joko explained that the DKI Provincial Government had no trouble finding 12 candidates to replace the vacant SKPD head because currently adequate human resources (HR) were available in the DKI Provincial Government's work environment.

Instead, he hopes that the auction event for positions will be used by employees who meet the requirements to compete to be the best and deserve to lead the SKPD in the future.

"There are no obstacles, because we are indeed rotating positions, then there are indeed some who retire. We have a lot of human resources, just do the competition so that we get the best," Joko explained.

The process of auctioning positions to the announcement of the head of the DKI SKPD, said Joko, will last around 1-1.5 months.

"Maybe it's been about 1-1.5 months for the bidding process," said Joko.

Currently, there are several positions for SKPD that are still available and filled with task force (Plt), including the Head of the DKI Jakarta Health Office, Head of the DKI Jakarta Highways Agency, Head of the Public Housing Service.

Then the Head of the DKI Jakarta Education Office, Head of the DKI Jakarta Communication, Information and Statistics Office to the Head of the DKI Jakarta Goods/Services Procurement Service Agency (BPPBJ).
