BANDARLAMPUNG - Lampung Regional Police (Polda) forcibly picked up the former Secretary General of KAHMI Lampung Heri CH Burmelli in South Jakarta on suspicion of using energy together against goods or destruction referred to in Article 170 or Article 406 of the Criminal Code.

"Last Tuesday at around 12.10 WIB, we carried out a forced pick-up at a house on Jalan Sumping, Number 11, RT 3 / RW 1 South Jakarta, against the person concerned because he was absent from the summons," said the Director of General Crimes at the Lampung Police, Kombes Pol. Reynold Hutagalung was quoted by ANTARA, Wednesday, May 10.

The forced efforts made against Heri CH Burmeli were related to the police report number: LP/B-1284/XI/2022/LPG/SPKT, dated 22/10/2022 with the reporter on behalf of M Haeri on suspicion of planting destruction growing on the pretext of having a sporadic in 2022.

"Yes, the suspect is suspected of damaging crops growing under the pretext of having sporadics in 2022. However, this is refuted, the rightful owner has had SHM since 2003 through the ratification of BPN," he said.

Before making coercive efforts and naming the suspect against Heri CH Burmelia, investigators had examined 13 witnesses and one expert and mediated the complainant and reported.

However, he continued, it did not find a peace agreement between the two parties, the reported party had also been summoned as a suspect twice. Until finally the investigator made a forced attempt because the person concerned was not cooperative, was not present for no reason.

"Currently, the suspect Heri has been taken to the Lampung Police Headquarters for further investigation," he said.

Reynold explained that the case involving Heri CH Burmelli began on November 16, 2022. The reporter was visited by two unknown people who put material in the form of sand, bricks, cement, and piled land on the land he had been waiting for.

"Because the reporter as the person who was ordered to wait and care for the land, he (the reporter) asked the purpose of the two unknown people," he said.

At that time, he continued, the two people said that they only received orders. On November 17, 2022, they came back and showed sporadics on behalf of Heri Challilullah Burmelli and tried to establish a post on the land awaited by the complainant.

On November 18, 2022, approximately eight people came with machetes, chainsaws, and swords. They immediately damaged the growing cultivation of the complainant (victim) in the form of banana trees, acacia trees, and papaya trees by cutting or cutting the plant.

"The complainant has tried to hold back what they have done, but doesn't care about it and continues to carry out the raid," he said.

In fact, he continued, the reporter had also tried to discuss and ask why the reported cut down the trees that had been planted. However, they were also ignored.
