Central Java Police Confirms That The Case Of The Body Of Dicor Cement And Dismembered Is A Premeditated Murder Victim

SEMARANG The Central Java Regional Police (Polda) said the case of a corpse being mutilated and cement cast that occurred in a rented house on Jalan Mulawarman Raya, Kramas Village, Tembalang District, Semarang City was premeditated murder.

The identity of the victim is Irwan Hutagalung (53), a resident of Bukit Agung Housing, Sumurboto Village, Banyumanik District, Semarang City. The victim was found dead at his place of business.

"The victim suffered injuries to his (dianiaya) head," said Head of Public Relations of the Central Java Police, Kombes Pol Iqbal Alqudussy, in a written statement, Tuesday, May 9.

Based on the autopsy results of the bodies including examination of witnesses, it is known that the victim died on Friday, May 5, in the early hours of the morning.

When found at the crime scene, the victim was in a state of cement casting, while the head, right arm, left arm were put in a sack. His legs were tied with a raffia rope. His body was covered with pillows. Then cast cement planted in a ditch next to his place of business, next to the car wash.

"The autopsy has been carried out at Dr. Kariadi Hospital Semarang, we have secured a number of evidences, there are crowbars, raffia ropes, clothes worn when found, half a sack of cement and pillows," he continued.

A knife was also found at the scene. The handle is seen with traces of cement still attached.

Currently, the location of the place of business is still installed with a police line. A pick-up car and a motorcycle equipped with a device to put gallons is still parked at the scene.

The Semarang Police Criminal Investigation Unit and the Directorate of General Criminal Investigation of the Central Java Police are still investigating this incident. This afternoon, led by the Semarang Police Chief, Kombes Pol. Irwan Anwar, officers again conducted a crime scene investigation at the scene.

Previously, the victim was found dead at the TKP on Monday, May 8, 2023 at around 14.00 WIB. The police dismantled a ditch that was covered in zinc after receiving reports from employees and building owners for emitting a pungent odor.

After being dismantled, it was discovered that a body had been cast. The body was Irwan Hutagalung the owner of the place of business. The police were assisted by SAR volunteers and a medical team from the local health center and then carried out the evacuation and examination of the body at the TKP before being taken to the morgue of Dr. Kariadi Semarang.
