Transpakuan Will Add Routes To Cibubur, DKI Prepares Additional Transjakarta Buses To Accommodate Bogor Residents

Head of the DKI Jakarta Transportation Agency, Syafrin Liputo, said that his party will prepare additional Transjakarta buses in cooperation in connecting Transpakuan bus routes departing from Bogor to Cibubur, East Jakarta. "If it is necessary to add it at the time of arrival of the Transpakuan bus, we will add the number of buses serving," Syafrin told reporters, Monday, May 8. So far, there are around 100 buses serving passengers from the Cibubur area to various areas within the city of Jakarta. In detail, there are 20 non-BRT buses from the Cibubur Bus Stop to the Cawang BKN Bus Stop as the main service operating from 05.00 WIB to 22.00 WIB. Then, there are 20 additional special buses serving during peak hours on two routes from Cibubur to Blok M and the North Jakarta area. In addition, there are 62 Microtrans buses that also operate from Cibubur to Kampung Rambutan and Pasar Rebo areas. "So, later there will be more than 100 buses that are currently serving. So that later we hope, after there is a Transpakuan service that cooperates with Transjakarta from Bogor to Cibubur, this is welcomed by buses that are currently serving," explained Syafrin. The plan is for this Transpakan bus to depart from Bubulak and Baranangsiang to Cibubur. However, the imposition of Transpakuan bus fares from Bogor to Jakarta has not yet been determined. So far, the cooperation plan for the integration of Transjakarta and Transpakuan buses is still in preparation for administration and licensing to the central government. If later the bus connection has been implemented, Syafrin hopes that the use of private vehicles from Bogor to Jakarta will decrease. "Currently in the administrative process, two routes will be tested. So, people from Bogor do not have to bring their personal vehicles, but they simply depart from Bubulak or Baranangsiang by Transpakuan bus to Cibubur, then from Cibubur further with Transjakarta into Jakarta," he explained. For information, the Transjakarta-Transpakauan cooperation plan was revealed in a meeting between the Mayor of Bogor Bima Arya and the Acting Governor of DKI Jakarta Heru Budi Hartono some time ago.

From the discussion of Bima and Heru at the DKI Jakarta City Hall at that time, cooperation in the integration of the Transjakarta-Transpakan bus route is targeted to begin implementing in December.
