This Afternoon Wiranto Meets Prabowo In Hambalang, Discuss The Presidential Election?

Chairman of the Presidential Advisory Council (Wantimpres) Wiranto is scheduled to meet the General Chair of the Gerindra Party Prabowo Subianto at the Garuda Yaksa Padepokan, Hambalang, Bogor Regency, West Java, Monday, May 1, this afternoon.

The meeting between the two was confirmed by a member of the Gerindra Party Board of Trustees, Dahnil Anzar Simanjuntak. However, Dahnil did not explain in more detail regarding the meeting.

"That's right (Prabowo met Wiranto in Hambalang, ed)," said Dahnil, Monday, May 1.

Based on the invitation in circulation, Wiranto will meet Prabowo at the Garuda Yaksa Padepokan, Hambalang, at around 16.00 WIB. The issue is that Prabowo and Wiranto will discuss the 2024 general election (Pemilu), especially the presidential election.

Previously, Gerindra Chairman Prabowo Subianto had visited Wiranto's residence on Tuesday, April 25, afternoon. Prabowo stated that the visit to the house was only to stay in touch.

Meanwhile, Wiranto stated that he and Prabowo had a long history together as TNI soldiers. Wiranto also mentioned Prabowo's plan to run as a presidential candidate. He considered Prabowo to have the quality to become president.

Meanwhile, Prabowo referred to Wiranto as a senior in the military field. This is the reason Prabowo visited Wiranto at his residence in the South Jakarta area.

"I have the honor, I was accepted by Mr. Wiranto. Mr. Wiranto was my senior, once my Commander, my predecessor as Minister of Defense," Prabowo was met after meeting Wiranto, Tuesday, April 25.
