Cases Of Discovery Of Bodies In Sacks In Tegal Revealed, Perpetrators Arrested When Wanting To Pray In Musala

TEGAL The case of finding a corpse in a sack in the West Tegal area a few days ago was revealed. The Tegal City Police of Central Java, arrested one person who is now a suspect.

Tegal City Police Chief AKBP Jaka Wahyudi explained that the incident began with the discovery of the body of a man wrapped in sacks on Tuesday, April 25, noon. The discovery caused residents of RT 04 RW 03 Pekauman Village, West Tegal District, Tegal City, to commotion.

The body in the sack was found in a house belonging to a doctor. The victim may have died about four days before the residents were found.

According to the identity, the victim named Wandana bin Ramadi (23) is the address of Ciduwet Village, Kepanjahan District, Brebes Regency.

Following up on the incident, the Police Chief continued, his party immediately processed the crime scene (TKP) and examined a number of witnesses for questioning.

As well as collecting evidence including checking CCTV belonging to residents around the scene.

"For hard work and foresight from investigators, armed with the statements of witnesses and evidence obtained at the TKP, the investigation narrowed to one of the suspects with the initials MJA (25) the address according to the ID card from Kedungwungu Village, Jatinegara District, Tegal Regency," explained the Police Chief, Sunday, April 30.

"We finally secured the suspect when he was about to pray at a prayer room in the Tegal Regency Deskem area. The following is evidence of a blue and white Honda Beat motorcycle No. Pol G- 2547-SU and a gray Redmi brand cellphone and a number of other items belonging to the victim," added the Police Chief.

From the results of the examination, the suspect admitted that he had killed the victim with the motive of wanting to control the victim's motorbike.

"Because of his actions, the suspect violated Article 365 paragraph (3) of the Criminal Code concerning theft with violence. With a maximum prison sentence of 15 (fifteen) years. Because with his actions it resulted in the death of another person," said the Police Chief.
