JAKARTA - The COVID-19 Task Force released the latest additional positive cases of COVID-19 as of today. A total of 20,141 specimens were examined today. As a result, there were 616 new positive cases of COVID-19."The total accumulation of positive cases since COVID-19 was discovered in Indonesia reached 6,748,308 people and active cases rose 288 to 5,837 cases," as quoted from the COVID-19 Task Force data, Tuesday, April 4.Cases recovered today increased by 323 people, bringing the total to 6,581,436 recovered people. Then, positive confirmed cases who died increased by 5 cases and a total of 161,035 people. The province with the most new cases was in DKI Jakarta with 235 cases and a total of 1,547,381 cases. Followed by West Java which has 156 new cases with a total of 1,239,224 cases. East Java has 66 new cases and a total of 639,227 cases. Banten has 55 new cases and a total of 367,560 cases. The province with the most recovered cases today belongs to DKI Jakarta with an increase of 163 cases recovered. Followed by East Java with an increase of 49 recovered cases, West Java with an increase of 35 recovered cases, and Banten with an increase of 31 recovered cases. In addition, the number of specimens that have been examined using RT-PCR, TCM, and antigens reached 115,997,819. The positive result per number of people examined or a positivity rate of people this week is 3.85 percent," he wrote.

The number of people suspected of contracting COVID-19 or who are currently categorized as suspected cases, was recorded at 1,540 people. Currently, 34 provinces have had cases of COVID-19. Furthermore, currently there are 203,824,766 people who have received the first dose of COVID-19 vaccination and 174,856,799 the second dose of vaccination. Then, the third dose of vaccination was 68,648,943 and the fourth dose was 3,096,402. Meanwhile, the target for vaccination in Indonesia was 234,66,020 people.
