Strengthen Regional Defense, 450 Lumajang TNI Soldiers On Duty To Secure Indonesia's Eastern Border

LUMAJANG- Danrem 083/Baladhika Jaya Col. Inf. MI Gogor Agnie Aditya with the Regent of Lumajang Thoriqul Haq released the Border Security Task Force of the Republic of Indonesia-Papua New Guinea (Satgas Pamtas RI-PNG) Region Infantry Battalion 527/Baladhika Yudha at Pratu Natra Field Mako Infantry Battalion 527/Baladhika Yudha in Lumajang Regency, Friday, March 31.

A total of 450 TNI soldiers from the Infantry Battalion (Yonif) 527 / Baladhika Yudha in Lumajang Regency, East Java, carried out their duties to secure eastern Indonesia's border areas.

"The operation task is the highest honor for a soldier so carry out the honor as well as possible," said Military Resort Commander 083/Baladhika Jaya Col. Inf. M I Gogor Agnie Aditya in a written statement received in Lumajang, quoted by ANTARA, Saturday, April 1.

In his mandate, Danrem asked the soldiers to carry out their duties as well as possible, work hard, dedication and discipline, because that is what will make the task force personnel successful and return safely.

"The soldiers are placed in vulnerable areas to create conducive areas, so do and obey the existing orders of superiors and procedures. Remember only hard work, discipline and not being careless every second and every day, then you will return safely," he advised.

Danrem also appreciated and paid tribute to the 527/Baladhika Yudha Yogyakarta Soldiers who devoted themselves to this noble task of guarding Indonesia's eastern border.

"To families who are left behind, I hope to always pray and do not burden their husbands with thoughts that make them not focus on assignments," he said.

Meanwhile, the Regent of Lumajang who is familiarly called Cak Thoriq hopes that the departing task force can carry out its duties on Indonesia's eastern border well and successfully.

"I pray that all the soldiers who left together can be successful and return safely until they meet their families, wives and children," he said.

The soldier release ceremony was also attended by Dandim, 0821/Lumajang Lt. Col. Czi Gunawan Indra, Lumajang Police Chief AKBP Boy Jeckson Situmorang, DPRD Chairman Eko Agis Prayogo, Budi Prayitno District Court Chair, BPN Head H. Rocky Sunoto, Head of BNN Lumajang Regency AKBP Indra Brahmana, and Lumajang Regional Secretary Agus Triyono.
