JAKARTA - The South Sulawesi (Sulsel) Regional Police together with the Bone Regency SAR Team carried out a humanitarian mission to help search for official car drivers suspected of drowning in the mouth of the Tangka River, Sinjai Regency. The official car from the Ministry of Manpower in Makassar City experienced a disaster driven by Husair Bakri (40) that fell into the mouth of the Tangka River, Sinjai Regency, South Sulawesi.

The victim's colleague, Noble (43) said Husain Bakri went to the scene to fish. Shortly before the incident, he and his partner had just returned from fishing and his boat docked on the mouth of the Tangka River, Saturday, March 25 at around 14.20 WITA.

The Noble, who was temporarily collecting his luggage from the boat, suddenly heard something falling into the river. Instantly Noble also heard people screaming. As a result.

Nobles got off the boat and saw the official car falling into the river. Suddenly Noble, shouted. Hearing the sound of people screaming for help, the community then raced to the location of the sound source. One by one the related parties arrived at the location, including Sinjai Police personnel, the Fire Department and the Regional Disaster Management Agency (BPBD), and the local community went down to search.

At 16.20 WITA, the search team managed to find the car and then evacuated and lifted the official car using a rope.

But unfortunately, the official car driver was not found in the car, so the dive team from the local BPBD continued the search. Until now, the victim has not been found.

Currently, the parties involved in the search mission are SAR Brimob, Basarnas Bone, BPBD Sinjai Regency, Marines Posmat TNI AL Sinjai, Kodim Sinjai, Sat Polair Polres Sinjai, PMI Sinjai Regency, and SAR Makassar State University.
