New Round Of DKI Business, Perumda Dharma Jaya Meat Sold At Kokas Mall

JAKARTA - The DKI Provincial Government is committed to maintaining supply and stability of fresh meat prices and their derivatives at affordable prices for the people of the capital city. Related to this, Acting Governor Heru Budi Hartono met businessman Chairul Tanjung (CT) at a supermarket at the Kota Kasablanka Mall (Kokas) South Jakarta to ensure that meat stocks from Perumda Dharma Jaya entered the supermarket on Tuesday, March 21.

"This time we saw the condition of the Dharma Jaya outlet which included its products in the supermarket owned by Mr. Chairul Tanjung," said Heru, Antara, Sunday, March 22.

Heru thanked CT for wanting to help the DKI Jakarta Provincial Government (Pemprov) to stabilize meat prices, meat supply and maintain inflation.

According to Heru, Perumda Dharma Jaya continues to ensure the price and supply of fresh meat and its derivatives are available at affordable prices for all people of DKI Jakarta, as the initial commitment of the Regional Owned Enterprise (BUMD) of DKI Jakarta Province.

In this activity, Acting Governor Heru was accompanied by the President Director of Perumda Dharma Jaya Raditya Endra Budiman. Raditya said the move to sell Perumda Dharma Jaya meat products to the supermarket as at Kokas Mall was a new chapter in the business.

He hopes that in the future Perumda Dharma Jaya will be able to expand product reach to other supermarket outlets so that people can easily reach meat products at affordable prices and increase sales and profits of the DKI Jakarta Provincial BUMD.

He believes that meat sales will increase and people's meat needs will be met properly. The types of meat sold are fresh meat and maintained with high quality standards, ranging from the process of selection of live cows and beef, to packaging with food industry standards (food industry).

Apart from supermarkets, Jakarta residents can find Perumda Dharma Jaya meat products at Dharma Jaya Toko outlets spread across DKI Jakarta, such as on Jalan Penggilingan, Cakung (East Jakarta), Jalan H Aseni, Semanan, Kalideres (West Jakarta) and Jalan Kembang Kerep, Kembangan Selatan (West Jakarta).

In Jakarta, beef consumption reaches 6,000 tons every month. Consumption of beef in the capital is predicted to increase by 600 tons during Ramadan compared to meat consumption on weekdays.

According to Raditya, Perumda Dharma Jaya has prepared a stock of 500 tons of beef, 500 tons of chicken and 500 to 600 tons of fish to meet the community's needs for animal protein.

Chairul Tanjung expressed his appreciation to the DKI Jakarta Provincial Government for choosing the supermarket he manages as a partner to stabilize food prices.

He hopes that Dharma Jaya's synergy with supermarkets at Kokas Mall will be able to create solid cooperation in supplying good quality beef.

In addition, it is consistent in determining affordable prices for the public in order to maintain the inflation rate in Jakarta during the national religious holidays.

"The important thing for us is that Dharma Jaya guarantees that it will consistently cool fresh meat for residents in Jakarta. Then, this is also able to maintain price stability so that a better ecosystem will occur in inflation," said CT.

According to CT, the price of meat at the supermarket at Kokas Mall is currently still affordable. Dharma Jaya (DJ) packaged products for rendang Rp108,900 and DJ rendang special Rp149,000 per kilogram (kg).

Meanwhile, DJ for shabu meat is Rp. 52,000 per package of 500 grams, DJ has a frozen heart of Rp. 34,500 and DJ beef has an ankle of Rp. 169,000 per kg.
