PRAYA - Deputy Regent of Central Lombok, West Nusa Tenggara (NTB), HM Nursiah appealed to the State Civil Apparatus (ASN) not to be lazy to work despite cutting working hours and fasting during Ramadan 1444 Hijri.

"Perlayanan kepada masyarakat tetap prima. Tidak ada perbedaan mau bulan idah atau tidak," katanya dikutip ANTARA, Senin, 20 Maret.

He said that the month of Ramadan should be able to be a motivation to increase self-discipline and work ethic, so that it does not become an excuse to be lazy to work in providing services.

"We will continue to improve the supervision during the month of Ramadan, so that services to the community are not disrupted," he said.

He said ASN working hours during the 2023 fasting month would still be reduced as in the previous year. According to the Circular of the Minister of State Apparatus Empowerment and Bureaucratic Reform (PANRB), it is stipulated for government agencies that impose five working days, working hours during Ramadan to 08.00 WITA to 15.00 WITA on Monday to Thursday, and for rest hours are given at 12.00 WITA-12.30 WITA.

"ASN working hours in Central Lombok during Ramadan are still adjusted to the rules from the central government or not much different from the previous year," said Nursiah.

Meanwhile, for government agencies that implement six working days, working hours will be 08.00 WITA to 14.00 WITA on Monday to Thursday and Saturday, with rest time from 12.00 WITA to 12.30 WITA.

"As for Friday, ASN working hours are at 08.00 WITA-14.00 WITA, with a break time of 11.30 WITA-12.30 WITA," he said.

With the SE, it is hoped that ASN can divide the time well, so that working time in the office remains optimal and fasting can be carried out properly.

"The control of stalls that open during the month of Ramadan remains the attention or duty of the Central Lombok Satpol PP," he said.
