Central Java Governor Ganjar Pranowo again reviewed the repair of damaged roads in the Central Java region, Wednesday, March 15. There are two road points reviewed by Ganjar Pranowo after leading the Bregasmalang Petanglong Musrenbangwil.

The two roads include the Limpung-Bawang road, precisely around Sojomerto Market, Batang Regency. One other point is the Weleri-Sokorejo road, Kendal Regency.

Based on complaint data in Laporgub for the period January 1-13 March 2023, there are most infrastructure complaints. Complaints regarding damaged roads are at the top of the ranking. Complaints regarding district/city roads totaling 1,663 complaints, village/kelurahan roads there are 1,021 complaints, and provincial roads as many as 651 complaints.

"There have been many reports coming to us, complaints that many roads are damaged because the weather conditions are quite extreme. So Pak Hanung and all the teams at the hall are trying to comb one by one," said Ganjar Pranowo when met at the location.

Specifically for complaints of damaged roads in the Bregasmalang Petanglong area, there were 649 complaints. A total of 333 reports consisting of 98 village street complaints, 180 district roads, and 55 provincial roads have been followed up. The rest are still in the follow-up process.

"Like yesterday we tried the e-catalog model methods that are good, the work is fast. Luckily the weather is also good so we can work. It's just that because our budget can't complete everything, and we can't catch up on the perfection of work after two years without handling, we take priority. Those who have entered the program are really damaged, we clean up, some are massaged concrete like that and something like this is still good enough for us to finish," he explained.

According to Ganjar, the more important thing is the safety of road users. Roads that have entered priority and can be handled quickly are carried out immediately. Meanwhile, those that have not been done or take a long time will be installed with warning signs.

"We take care of the security values of road users. We also ask for help from goods transport entrepreneurs, not ODOL. Everyone must be orderly. In some places, it has become our old habit that if it is not possible and it still takes a long time to give signs so that the public can know that the area really needs attention. Traffic agencies are careful, "he said.

"The road is even smoother so it is passed is not dangerous for motorists. Almost from Wonokerso Village to here it is all perforated. Thank God it has started to be repaired. The damaged condition is almost a week because many trucks carry stones here, because it is raining too. The repairs were only yesterday," he said after Ganjar Pranowo checked road repairs.
