Personal Adjutant Defrauds Entrepreneurs To Purchase Land Cruiser And Mercedes Benz Cars Worth IDR 1.3 Billion

JAKARTA - West Jakarta Metro Police Satreskrim investigators uncovered acts of fraud and embezzlement committed by Akbar PB alias Akbar alias Ajudan Pribadi (Personal Adjutant) (27). Apparently, the perpetrator cheated for his personal needs.

"The mode of the reported, the reported contacted the victim offering 2 units of luxury cars, a Land Cruiser car at a price of IDR 400 million and a Mercedes Benz for IDR 950 million. However, the two luxury cars are fictitious or not real, just for deceptive mode," said West Jakarta Metro Police Chief, Kombes M Syahduddi to reporters at the West Jakarta Police, Wednesday, March 15.

The arrest of the perpetrator was carried out after the West Jakarta Metro Police received a report from SY, the victim's attorney. The victim is known to have the initials AL (39). Then investigators pursued the perpetrators in the Makassar area.

"The fraud occurred in Kalideres, West Jakarta. The suspect offered a car to the victim worth 400 million and 950 million. The incident will occur in 2021," he said.

After the victim made the payment, it turned out that the car was not there and it was handed over to the victim. The victim was also reported to the West Jakarta Police.

"Akbar alias AP (27) a resident from Makassar. The reported was arrested at his home in Makassar, South Sulawesi but was not there. After several days of investigation, the reported was arrested while driving a vehicle on the street," he said.

Previously, the West Jakarta Metro Police reportedly arrested an Instagram celebrity AP. He was arrested on suspicion of fraud which cost the victim up to IDR 1.3 billion. West Jakarta Metro Police Head of Criminal Investigation Unit, Kompol Andri Kurniawan confirmed the news.

"We have secured one person with the initials A, who is a celebrity while still in process. Fraud and embezzlement, article 378 of the Criminal Code," said Andri when confirmed, Tuesday, March 14.
