Regarding The Firecracker Explosion In Sukosari Kasembon, The Police Do TKP

JAKARTA - The police conducted a crime scene (TKP) regarding the explosion which allegedly came from the raw material for making firecrackers in Pulosari Hamlet, Sukosari Village, Kasembon, Malang Regency, East Java.

Batu Police Chief AKBP Oskar Syamsuddin in Pulosari Hamlet, Kasembon District, Malang Regency said that the crime scene processing process was carried out together with the Bomb Disposal Unit and the East Java Police Labfor, as well as the Batu Police Criminal Investigation Unit.

"The crime scene was assisted by the Jibom Unit of the East Java Police, the East Java Regional Police Labfor and the Batu Police Criminal Investigation Unit," said Oskar.

Oskar explained, during the TKP processing process, officers found powders that were suspected to be raw material for making firecrackers. There were four bags of raw materials found at the location.

According to him, in addition to finding raw materials to make firecrackers, officers also found a number of firecrackers and fireworks at the scene. Then, a small spoon was also found which was suspected to be used to pick up the raw material for the firecrackers.

"There are several other findings that we found at the location. The evidence was secured first by the laboratory to be tested," he said.

In addition, he continued, officers also asked for statements from a number of witnesses regarding the explosion incident that occurred on Saturday (11/3) at 18.30 WIB. Based on witness testimony, the victim named Hasan (18) who died often made firecrackers.

"Every year, this victim makes firecrackers. That is to be used during Ramadan, we will do an in-depth investigation," he said.

In the process of sterilizing and processing the crime scene was carried out behind closed doors by a number of personnel from the Bomb Disposal Unit and the East Java Police Labfor. The process was carried out from 08.00 WIB to 13.00 WIB.

As a result of the explosion, the person with the initials Hasan, aged 18, was reported to have died as a result of an explosion that allegedly came from the raw material for making firecrackers.

In addition, the explosion that occurred at around 18.30 WIB also caused two people to be injured and had to be treated at a nearby hospital, causing three houses to be damaged.
