AG Proposes Protection, LPSK Considers Reconstruction Facts

JAKARTA - The Witness and Victim Protection Agency (LPSK) will consider the facts that emerged during the reconstruction of the persecution case against David Ozora.

Meanwhile, LPSK is currently reviewing applications for protection from AG child perpetrators in the case.

"We will consider the facts revealed in yesterday's reconstruction," said Deputy Chairperson of LPSK, Edwin Partogi to VOI, Saturday, March 11.

Later, the facts that appear in the reconstruction will be brought to the meeting table. Then, it is discussed comprehensively to determine whether to accept or reject AG's request for protection.

"Later (the facts from the reconstruction, ed) will be discussed to decide," he said.

The plan is that the decision or attitude of the request for protection will be determined next week. LPSK leader Hasto Atmojo who will announce it later.

"Maybe next Monday it will be decided by the leadership," said Edwin.

The perpetrator AG was originally supposed to submit an application to LPSK on February 28. The application was mentioned when his status was still a witness.

Procedurally, LPSK has a maximum deadline of 30 days to decide whether to accept or not the application for protection from the AG.

For information, in the reconstruction of the persecution case against David Ozora, several new facts emerged, especially the role of AG.

The perpetrator of the child turned out to be participating in recording Mario Dandy Satryo's brutal actions when beating David. In fact, AG did not show an attitude of empathy or sympathy.

Because, he did not intervene in this act of persecution. AG actually relaxed smoking when David was asked to repent with his head on the asphalt and hands on the back.
