JAKARTA - President Joko Widodo commemorated International Women's Day by uploading congratulatory posters. There is a picture of a woman working as a glider or skateboarder athlete on the poster.

Jokowi uploaded the poster on various social media accounts right on International Women's Day which falls today, Wednesday, March 8.

In the upload too, Jokowi said the world was open to equality between women and men, including in the world of work. There is no no and written rule that curbs gender in choosing its profession.

"The world is progressing, technology is getting more and more up-to-date, digitalization of all fields is inevitable. These changes provide equal and equal space between humans, not sorting out men and women," Jokowi wrote in a statement on his Twitter account, Wednesday, March 8.

However, Jokowi conveyed that openness as best as possible was achieved by national women by continuing to cultivate knowledge. Because those who will achieve their dreams, said Jokowi, only those who are truly able to show their creativity.

"Only the creative and daring to innovate will take on a role and achieve a dream," said Jokowi.

Meanwhile, in the poster congratulating International Women's Day, various professions are depicted by modern women. These include nurses, housewives, immigrants, Koran teachers, to modern farmers.

Interestingly, the women's pictures also show processions that were once considered taboo by many people if women studied them.

For example skateboarders, musicians, weightlifters, field contractors, photos of journalists, star observers or astronomers to teachers or teachers in remote places.
