PKS Encourages 3A Communication To Increase Votes In Banten, Jakarta And West Java

JAKARTA - The Prosperous Justice Party (PKS) Central Leadership Council (DPP) encourages its cadres to build 3A communication, namely adem (cool), akur (friendly), and (fun) to increase and win votes in the 2024 elections, including in Banten, Jakarta, and West Java.

Moreover, said PKS DPP chairman Mardani Ali Sera in a written statement in Jakarta, Tuesday, the three regions, which they often shorten to Banjabar, are the party's main base and ballot barn.

"So with all the resources they have, the popularity they have built while being members of the council, and the wide network they have, the cadres, especially council members from this region, should become the driving force for victory," said Mardani as reported by ANTARA, Tuesday, March 7.

When confirmed, Mardani revealed that his party has a target of winning 15 percent of the vote nationally so that it can win 86 seats in the DPR RI, and half of them are targeted to come from the Jakarta, Banten, and West Java regions.

"Half of it can come from Banjabar. So Banjabar has this tough task. For DKI Jakarta itself, we hope to increase the votes by 30-40 percent. Therefore, friends who sit in the legislature, whether in the DPR or the provincial DPRD, the city/district are asked to fight to secure seats and sound," he said.

Mardani reminded that PKS had won in Jakarta in 2004 and won the 2008 and 2013 governor elections in West Java. Then PKS also won the 2017 regional elections in Jakarta with Anies Baswedan.

Therefore, through this Bimtek, Mardani hopes that the members of the council can make good use of the material provided about skills in communicating with various parties.

Namely how to dialogue with various groups to win sympathy, foster communities that have been visited in the capacity of members of the council, and make it the basis of winning through networks that are built.

This communication ability, said Mardani, is very important in listening and having a dialogue with the public and constituents, conveying opinions and arguments to the executive, dialoguing with leaders, and various elements.

"Build cool and relaxing communication with various parties as exemplified by Wali Songo when preaching in the Land of Java. Because cool communication fits the character of the Indonesian people," he said.

Then, he continued, also build good communication with all parties as instructed in the Qur'an to establish unity with all children of the nation.

"And also build communication that is fun and acceptable to all parties. Through good and effective communication, the role in the legislature can also be more optimal, including in maintaining relations with constituents on the one hand and the executive on the other," he said.

Mardani also asked the members of the DPR/DPRD to diligently foster the community and carry out empowerment with the hope that the community being fostered will become the basis and strengthen the winning network.

With Anies Baswedan declared as a presidential candidate, DPRD members in Banjabar must really maximize this to increase PKS votes.

"That is by conveying Anies' performance in Jakarta which is supported by PKS. Then not only Jakarta, but Banten and West Java which are close to Jakarta must also be able to maximize support for Anies to increase PKS votes," he said.
