Transportation Integration Tariffs Had Problems, Acting Governor Of DKI Removed Director Of Jaklingko

JAKARTA - Acting Governor of DKI Jakarta Heru Budi Hartono removed the President Director of PT Jaklingko Indonesia Muhamad Kamaluddin from his position in the decision of shareholders (KPPS) outside the general meeting of shareholders.

Jaklingko is a subsidiary of a number of blood-owned enterprises (BUMD) of the DKI Jakarta Provincial Government and PT Kereta Api Indonesia (KAI). Where, 20 percent of shares are owned by MRT Jakarta, 20 percent of PT Transjakarta, 20 percent of Jakarta LRT, and 20 percent of PT MITJ (coupling company between MRT and KAI).

In addition to dismissing Kamaluddin from the position of Director of Jaklingko, Heru as the highest shareholder also removed the President Commissioner, Commissioner, Director of Finance, and Director of Engineering in Jaklingko.

"Resign with respect Brother Suryawan Putra Hia as President Commissioner, Brother Widi Amanasto as Commissioner, Brother Muhamad Kamaluddin as President Director, Brother Mohammad Hanief Arie Setianto as Director of Finance, and Brother Endro Rahardjo as Director of Engineering," said PT JakLingko Indonesia Corporate Secretary and Legal Division Head Kevin Haikal in his statement, Tuesday, March 7.

The removal of the Director of Jaklingko was carried out after the emergence of problems in the application of transportation integration rates for Transjakarta, MRT Jakarta, and LRT Jakarta amounting to Rp. 10,000. When the new system serving integration rates began to be implemented in October 2022, many tap machines at the Transjakarta bus stop were problematic. User electronic money cards (KUE) are often blocked and their balances are cut twice.

Now, after the system is improved, it turns out that the use of the three modes of transportation integration tariff is rarely used. Not many passengers take advantage of the Rp10 thousand tariff by moving the mass public transportation mode.

Thus, Jaklingko shareholders appointed Mega Indahwati Natangsa Tarigan as President Director and Fajar Dharmawan as Director with a term of office in accordance with the company's AD/ART.

Kevin explained, before serving as President Director of Jaklingko, Mega Tarigan served as Railway Operation Division Head of PT MRT Jakarta (Perseroda).

Mega has joined PT MRT Jakarta since October 2009. Meanwhile, Fajar Dharmawan previously served as Group Head of Finance PT Moda Integration of Jabodetabek Transportation (MITJ), which was also previously listed as Head of Accounting and Financial Control of PT MRT Jakarta for the 2015-2020 period.
