JAKARTA - Former Yogyakarta Customs Chief Eko Darmanto denied that he showed off his wealth on social media. According to him, his personal data was broken by certain parties and he became a victim of framing. This was conveyed by Eko after undergoing clarification on assets by the Directorate of LHKPN KPK today, Tuesday, March 7. "My data that was stored privately was stolen and then framed and circulated as all of my colleagues know," Eko told reporters at the KPK's Red and White House, Kuningan Persada, South Jakarta. When he emphasized about his post on his Instagram account, @eko_darmanto_bc, he just smiled. It is known, the uploads on the account often show Eko showing off luxury vehicles including while riding a Harley Davidson. Furthermore, Eko emphasized that he had detailed the State Administrators Wealth Report (LHKPN) which he submitted in the 2021 period. For 8.5 hours he has explained it to the officers of the LHKPN KPK Directorate, including his debt of Rp. 9 billion. "Please ask the LHKPN (part, red) which I have confirmed. I will clarify it to the LHKPN," he said. For information, Eko recorded ownership of assets of Rp. 15.7 billion in the State Administrators Wealth Report (LHKPN). In detail, Eko owns a BMW sedan 2018 for IDR 850 million, a Mercedes Benz sedan 2018 worth IDR 600 million, a Jeep Willys 1944 for IDR 150 million, a Chevrolet Bell Air 1955 IDR 200 million, a Toyota Fortuner 2019 worth IDR 400 million. Then, Mazda 2019 for IDR 200 million, Fargo Dodge 1957 worth IDR 150 million, Chevrolet Apache 1957 IDR 200 million, and Ford Bronco 1972 for IDR 150 million.
