Lindas Motorcyclists Ride 3 In Bukittinggi-Payakumbuh, The Unidentified Car Escapes

Three motorcycle riders became victims of a car crash on the Bukittinggi-Payakumbuh route, Lambah Ampek Angkek, West Sumatra (West Sumatra).

Head of the Bukittinggi Police Traffic Unit, AKP Ghanda Novidiningrat, said that after crossing the three victims, the car fled. As a result, two victims died.

"It is suspected that the victim, who was riding three motorcycles, fell and was dragged into the opposite lane," he said in Bukittinggi, Monday, March 6, which was confiscated by Antara.

He explained that the accident started with the victims who were using a Honda Verza BA 3859 EZ motorbike coming from the direction of Payakumbuh allegedly falling because they avoided the road which was being repaired.

The victims were then allegedly run over by a car that was not yet known what type. "The motorcycle was driven by AZ (21) by riding RA (21) and MR (22), of all three only RA survived," he said.

Ghanda said that currently the Bukittinggi Police are still investigating the car and its owner whose whereabouts are still unknown. The police will examine witnesses and CCTV around the location.

"Currently, an examination is being carried out through witness statements and CCTV footage around the location," he said.

Ghanda said the two victims who died were AZ, a resident of Jorong Saruaso Utara, Nagari Saruaso, Tanjung Emas District, Tanah Datar Regency.

Meanwhile, the other victim had his address at Jorong Baraie Nagari Paninjauan, X Koto District, Tanah Datar Regency.

All victims have been taken to the Achmad Mochtar Hospital (RSAM) of Bukittinggi City.
